From the Punisher Armory No. 2 Page 22:

When I was in the depths of my martial arts training. I seemed to be able to throw these shurikens a lot better than I do now. Maybe I'm just getting older, but my first throwing weapon. my big old Kabar Marine Combat Knife, still throws fine.

Maybe its the size of these things. about the size of my wallet. but heavy. made of a good tool steel The points can be uncomfortable as they are quite sharp I did pretty well with the simple darts-like throwing style, yet to really penetrate I know I'll have to perfect the power grip, which aligns your fingers over three of a four-pointed shuriken, leaving one point against the palm. Very tricky.

Something that was pulled on me once, back in Nam, and used to great effect as the four inch scar on my left thigh will testify to, is the Vietnamese Tomahawk. Actually used to clear scrub brush and small trees, it makes a formidable and deadly weapon in a determined persons hand. The tomahawk is superbly designed to throw and land edge first. However, it is so heavy and of such uneven weight, that it is hard to throw with confidence unless you practice mighty hard.
