A big, very imposing gun. SPAS means Sporting Purpose Automatic Shotgun. I guess they intended you to be able to lace the air around a quail or pheasant with 00 buck shot by firing in automatic mode. Or maybe let some SWAT member who hunts chance upon this rugged weapon.

lt’s long, weighs about 10 pounds loaded with its max of 8 rounds of 00 buck, and has a neat folding stock. I like this one with a curved arm brace that allows you to fire one-handed. And it can quickly switch from semi-auto to full auto with no tools. I guess, if I'm in a situation where I need to pick my shots, I needn't risk losing 2 rounds when I meant to fire 1.
