Hammerli, a Swiss target gun manufacturer, has produced one of the finest of their long line or high-grade match-grade pistols. The Hammerli 280 is all space-age material except for the walnut grips. I'm more accustomed to hip-shooting full auto, but I actually do like to target shoot for pleasure.
And this is the gun to do it with. Fully interchangeable sight-notches, barrels for ,22 long or .32 wad-cutters and magazines, adjustable trigger pull, palm rest, and counterweights. As light as a leather — well, 2.3 pounds worth, anyway — in .32, and I've carried magazines that weigh more than that for days.
