The hardest thing about jumping out window is doing it the first time. With sufficient training and equipment, it is merely difficult. Nothing can take the place of a real window and a four-story drop, so I wait until 3 AM, check the neighbors out, and try to maintain my proficiency.

The two things that look like ancient Mayan fertility symbols are really rappelling tools. By artfully threading rope through openings, you can control your descent. You can also nip off a finger and fall four stories, which is why I re-familiarize myself with kits and techniques once every two months.
