From Iron Man's Iron Manual Page 15:

I was reviewing the design evolution of the min-turbine system. The turbine manufacturing process doesn't easily reduce to the size and thrust-to-mass ration I need. The first sucessful sub-2-inch diameter turbine was in this suit.
